Coaching for Kids
After 20 years of experience teaching performance to children and youth, I have shifted to specializing in accent coaching for kids. With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, I bring a lot of play and embodiment to my coaching. I aim to find the techniques that work best for each individual actor, and with the goal of the accent supporting their performance. Everyone approaches this work with different levels of experience, so I bring a sense of ease and fun to it. We know that kids and adults learn differently, so I use techniques that support the abilities of younger learners.
Whether it’s prepping for an audition or a part, or building an arsenal of accents for a resume, I love empowering young actors to feel confident and ready to perform when an accent is needed.
